This Select Cedar is a Schenk Guitar exclusive and in very short supply.  This is extraordinary Wester Red Cedar in every way, from apearance to tone to stiffness.  I rare treat for any player.

Sinker Redwood is special Redwood found in the United Stated that has been submerged under water for decades or more.  They have become mineralized and show beautiful coloration providing very unique guitars.

EIR is a very traditional and popular choice for back and sides.  It provides a warm and rich tone.

Sapele is an excellent wood choice that provides clear notes and articulate chords.  Probably the most underrated choices for providing amazing sound.

A classic choice providing warm, woody tones.  It is getting increasingly hard to find but worth it when you get it.

Often seen as a Brazilian Rosewood substitute, this wood can clearly stand on its own.  Mad Rose is sonically bell like and warm at the same time.  Its visual beauty is only surpassed by its absolutely lovely and well balenced sound.

Schenk Guitars specializes in Koa and considers it one of our favorites.  Its sound is clear, articulate, warm and powerful.  It literally pairs well with most soundboard choices.  We especially like it with Cedar.

The Black-Tie Package includes an ebony circlet around the rim of the soundhole combined with ebony heel binding which outlines the heel against the body.   They are subtle and tuxedo like appointments that make your guitar stand out.
