Satisfaction Trial Period

We do everything in our power to provide our clients with the best instruments we can produce.

Most of the time we exceed the expectations of our clients.

As a result we have a 100% perfect track record with no returns since our start in 2005!

However, we do not want you to feel obligated to keep a guitar that does not meet your expectations.

Therefore we provide a 48 hour trial period for you to make your final decision.

The Trial Period starts the minute the guitar is delivered.

Return Conditions

1.  There are no returns on guitars that have custom work completed that would make resale difficult.  Examples of custom work

include special inlays, rare wood combinations or anything else that would result in appointments or customizations that are a notable

departure from our standard models or different from configurations that might be used for "speculation" guitars.

These limitations are at the sole discretion of Schenk Guitars in compliance with our standard operating procedures.

2.  Fully insured "Priority Overnight" FedEx shipping both ways will be the responsibility of the client/customer.  A shipping label will be provided for

return shipment and must be used.  All shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.

3.  There is a $75 handling fee that will cover all labor and time costs associated with the return.

4.  All notice of returns must be submitted in writing within the 48 hour trial period.  Notice can be given by email or fax.

The email address is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The fax number is 360-307-9777.

These methods of notification are used to provide clear time stamps for use to determine the time frame of the trial period.

5.  Upon receiving the shipment, Schenk Guitars will perform a detailed inspection of the guitar for damage.  Any damage will be assessed in writing, and

the cost to repair the damage (at a shop rate of $100 per hour) will be deducted from the refund amount.  If the damage exceeds the cost of the guitar,

then the refund would be negated.  The guitar may then be returned to the client/customer at their shipping expense.

6.  There is no return provision for guitars that have been altered in any way from the original condition of the guitar upon shipment to the customer from the Schenk Guitars shop.

Issue Resolution

From time to time minor issues may develop.  We do everything we can to help solve these issues fairly.  There are situations

that are outside of our control and responsibility (guitar care, humidity control, etc.).  We try, however, to go above and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied.

Every situation is different and it will be at our sole discretion to determine if we are obligated to provide assistance in resolving the issue.

It is the responsibility of the client/customer to familiarize themselves with what is appropriate and consistent with the guitar retail sales industry.

We will disclose when your requests are unreasonable or stray from normal guitar sale procedures and activity.

Bottom Line (no pun intended)

Our reputation is on the line.  We want you thrilled with your instrument.  Our motto is "Exceed Expectations."  Our track record is 100%!
